My Design Principles
I'm always working to use design to build a more inclusive, empathetic world. My approach? Find the sweet spot where real user needs meet business goals through great collaboration. I loop in stakeholders and engineers early because good relationships make everything run more smoothly. I care deeply about user outcomes but also sweat the design details - because why choose between impact and craft?

How I Work
Step 1: Problem Definition & Strategic Alignment
Every project starts with research—I dive into industry trends, look for inspiration from adjacent markets that could help us stand out, review what we already know about our users, catalog existing pain points, and pull insights from any relevant data we've collected. Then I bring stakeholders together to ensure user needs align with business goals, which helps us prioritize what matters most and plan our next steps strategically.
Step 2: Design and Refine
Next, I translate our strategy into initial designs, making sure every screen balances business goals, user insights, and technical constraints. I schedule regular check-ins with stakeholders, engineers, and product managers to keep collaboration transparent and productive. We always talk through why we're making specific design decisions and where we can improve from the start—this creates a feedback loop that makes both the designs and our team understanding stronger.
Step 3: Iterate and Test
Handoff is never the finish line for me. Whether it's beta testing, A/B assessments, or user surveys, I'm always seeking ways to keep improving the product. I believe in learning continuously from users and iterating quickly to keep them engaged and satisfied. These insights directly fuel the next iteration, creating an ongoing cycle of product evolution.
